Newsletter: Hot Club of Spokane, TONIGHT at ZOLA, plus many upcoming gigs!

Greetings Swing Fans!

Hot Club of Spokane invites you to ZOLA, at 22 W. Main, TONIGHT, Friday, August 29th!  We'll be hitting the stage at 10:00pm, and playing until about 1:00am.  If you're heading downtown for Pig Out in the Park, stop by for a tasty adult beverage and some incredibly fun vintage jazz!

Also on the horizon:

Think SWING! Jazz and Blues Festival will be having a ticket sales kick off at the Main Street Fair on September 13th!  Come down to Main Street in Downtown Spokane where you can listen to live music - including Hot Club of Spokane and our good friends 6' Swing, do some bargain shopping at places like Finders Keepers, and also take tours of the buildings, especially the Community Building, one of the greenest buildings in the state of Washington! 

You'll also be able to buy tickets for Think SWING! Jazz and Blues Festival, which swings into downtown November 7th - 9th, with artists from as far away as Sweden, New York, New Orleans, Austin.  Anchoring venues include the Marie Antoinette Room at the Davenport Hotel, The Knitting Factory, and The Spokane Masonic Center!  Think SWING! will also have a downtown Spokane night club circuit entitled the "River of Music" presented by Spokane's River 99.9FM.  Enjoy local and touring artists in Spokane's hottest night clubs, including Main Street's own ZOLA!

Additionally, Hot Club of Spokane will be appearing at The Panida Theatre in Sandpoint, Idaho!  Get your tickets at all TicketsWest outlets, or online at www.ticketswest.com  Tickets are $8 in advance, or $10 at the door.  Residents of Northern Idaho may find it convenient to purchase tickets in advance at Yoke's Foods in Sandpoint.

Also on the horizon, Hot Club of Spokane will providing evening entertainment for the Spokane International Film Festival's Fall Fundraiser.  First enjoy a rare screening of the film 'Round Midnight, starring Dexter Gordon, featured at The Bing Crosby Theatre.  Then, head over to the Spokane Club for dinner and entertainment with Hot Club of Spokane!
