We can't believe it, but we're completely revved up and excited to be accompanying Matt Munisteri on Saturday, November 8th, and then opening for Hot Club of Cowtown on Sunday, November 9th!!!!

Matt Munisteri hails from Brooklyn, NY and was named by Downbeat magazine as one of the best traditional jazz guitarists today.  Not only has Matt played with all the best in the business (such as Bucky Pizzarelli, Wynton Marsalis, and Frank Vignola), but he also leads a stellar band of his own called Brock Mumford.  His self-produced CD Love Story garnered the #2 spot on the Amazon.com jazz charts in 2003.  We'll be accompanying Matt during Session II of the Think SWING! events at The Knitting Factory, warming the stage for Hot Club of New Orleans (session II begins at 5:30pm, Saturday, November 8th).  We'll then join Hot Club of New Orleans, along with other artists, for a Jazz Manouche Jam session.

Hot Club of Cowtown is an Austin based western swing trio that recently reunited after a short hiatus.  They've made appearances on All Things Considered, Prairie Home Companion, and $40 a day with Rachel Ray, and they also toured with Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson on their tour of historic baseball parks.  We open for Hot Club of Cowtown on Sunday, November 9th, at 4:30pm at the Spokane Masonic Center.
